Marianna Mujica, MSW, LMSW is a Licensed Master Social Worker with previous experience in group practice, in-home counseling, outpatient mental health treatment and community health. She has worked with children, adults and families facilitating individual, family, therapeutic and psychoeducational group therapy.
Marianna is a graduate of Vassar College and obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts. She has performed as a singer professionally and studied dance for several years. As a returning homemaker, she obtained a Master of Social Work degree at the University of Maryland Baltimore with a clinical concentration.
She is a Holistic Psychotherapist who provides individual therapy and couples’ counseling to English and Spanish speaking adults. She is non-judgmental and enjoys working with creatives, empaths, highly sensitive and psychically gifted people and those who practice ethical non-monogamy.
She has a direct laser-focused down to earth therapeutic style and uses evidence-based practices to treat ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, adjustment disorders, relationship and self-esteem issues.
Marianna is bilingual in Spanish and has trained in EFT, EMDR, Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness and telehealth. She offers telehealth via Zoom which is a secure HIPAA compliant video therapy platform. She is continuing her studies of advanced EMDR.
Marianna believes in partnering with clients to empower them on their journey to wellness and wholeness. Her practice style is eclectic and includes client and solution focused, strengths-based, insight, cognitive-behavioral and spirituality. She adapts her clinical approach to meet each client’s needs and goals.
