I work as a relational psychotherapist, so I use an approach that helps people look at their patterns of thoughts, feelings and behaviors in relationships to understand more about themselves and the source of their anxiety. I specialize in the area of childhood emotional neglect, children of emotionally immature parents/caregivers, or what is sometimes referred to as children of narcissistic parents. Many of my clients have been taught to put others’ comfort first in order to feel safe, loved or approved of. I help clients connect with what they need – so they can heal and be true to themselves. I believe that connection, healing and attunement to self are the essence of life.
