I am a 4th generation trauma survivor and bilingual Polish American. My ancestors survived the Holocaust and World War I & II and for that I am grateful.

By 1999, I graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelors in Science in Psychology/Family Studies. In 2010, I graduated from Michigan State University with a Masters in Clinical Social Work.

My work in outpatient, inpatient, residential and correctional settings has lead me to a rewarding private practice of 5 years. Recently I joined a successful group practice in Rockford, MI at the Counseling Center of West Michigan Animal Assisted Therapy Center. Occasionally I use my certified canine co-therapists to facilitate individual psychotherapy sessions.

I have been happily married to my husband of 17 years and we have 8 canine companions aka furbabies. I’m a yoga and meditation enthusiast and love traveling, gardening, reading and enjoying the outdoors.
