Allison Kirsch, LCSW-C, SEP, CCAT is the founder of Experiential Minds Therapy, where she provides psychotherapy for adults, teens, and young adults navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, chronic stress, ADHD, chronic pain, insomnia, misophonia, life transitions, and nervous system dysregulation. Her work integrates evidence-based psychotherapy with somatic, mindfulness-based, and experiential approaches, recognizing that lasting change often occurs when clients engage both the mind and body in the healing process.

Allison is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner (SEP) with advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) through the University of Pennsylvania. She is also a Qualified Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) Teacher, Certified Clinical Adventure Therapist (CCAT), Certified HeartMath Practitioner, and incorporates Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) and other mind-body approaches into her work with appropriate clients. Her approach is collaborative, practical, and individualized, helping clients better understand the connections among thoughts, emotions, behaviors, physical sensations, and the nervous system while building meaningful, sustainable change.

In addition to her clinical practice, Allison serves as an adjunct faculty member in graduate social work education, where she teaches courses on mindfulness, stress reduction, and clinical practice. She is passionate about translating neuroscience, psychology, and contemplative practices into practical skills that students, clinicians, and clients can apply in everyday life. Allison also provides professional education and continuing education workshops for healthcare professionals on topics including nervous system regulation, trauma, chronic pain, mindfulness, and integrative mental health.

Allison earned both a Master of Social Work and a Master’s degree in Health Promotion Management. She is committed to lifelong learning and believes that therapy should be grounded in science, guided by compassion, and tailored to the unique strengths and goals of each individual.
