I have had the privilege of working with a multitude of individuals and families and have a wide clinical range. The last several years my practice has been dedicated to working with individuals affected by dual-diagnosis and trauma.
I am clinically trained in a variety of treatment techniques to aid in symptom relief using a combination of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Strength-Based Perspective, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Positive Psychology, and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I also hold a certification in Applied Neuroscience with a focus on meditation and mindfulness.
My educational background includes: A dual Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland in Management and Community Organization and Clinical Social Work with a sub-specialization in Mental Health. I am also a board-certified supervisor and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with over 10 years of experience working with children, adults, and families.
