I have had the privilege of working with a multitude of individuals and families and have a comprehensive clinical range.  My practice has been working with individuals affected by dual diagnosis and trauma for the last several years, and I currently own and operate a group mental health practice that focuses on trauma-informed treatment, Bay Area Counseling & Consultation, LLC.

I am clinically trained in a variety of treatment techniques to aid in symptom relief using a combination of Polyvagal Theory, Self-Compassion and Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Positive Psychology, Animal Assisted Psychotherapy, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.  I also have certifications in Applied Neuroscience, Safe and Sound Protocol, and Equine Partner Facilitator.

My educational background includes a dual Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland in Management and Community Organization and Clinical Social Work with a sub-specialization in Mental Health.  I am also a board-certified supervisor and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with over ten years of experience working with children, adults, and families.

While I am not currently taking new patients at the practice, we have several compassionate and dedicated providers who would like to be of service and are scheduling new patient appointments, please feel free to reach out.  If you’re reading this, I wish you the best of luck on your journey.
