We all have moments in life where we pause and realize that change is necessary. This is often a moment that can be intimidating and overwhelming – and you don’t have to respond to it alone. It takes courage to seek help & begin to shape new patterns and ways of being into your life. As a relational and attachment- based therapist, I believe we all already have we what we need inside of us. Our bodies hold deep wisdom and innate knowing that we can always return home to to continue exploring pleasure and seeking connection.
I work with people navigating different stages of life & going through challenges like identity development, emotional connection, intimacy, the transition to motherhood, and betrayal trauma. I blend consent-based and trauma-informed frameworks of therapy, including emotionally-focused couples therapy, parts work (IFS), and narrative therapy with somatic and nervous system-based approaches to help you slow down, notice what’s happening, & start to reconnect with yourself and your partner. In my experience & through ongoing research, healing moments happen when we are connected, feel seen, and are supported. I do this work because my own healing journey transformed my life & one of the biggest honors I hold is to witness others do the brave act of healing. I am not a blank slate, no facial expressions therapist; I bring my full, imperfect self into the room and I invite you to do the same.
