Zelma Sciaudone, LCSW-C, has fifteen years of experience in the field of social work. She is a compassionate psychotherapist who has worked in a variety of setting with children adolescents, adults, and families from a range of backgrounds. She is highly regarded for her ability to build therapeutic relationships and facilitate growth.
Zelma’s work experience spans settings as diverse as a domestic violence shelter serving women and children fleeing domestic violence, to a neighborhood services coordinator offering financial literacy and housing solutions to support underserved populations and as a private practice clinician offering individual, group, and family therapy to a range of clients. She has worked extensively with children and youth offering therapeutic services in both middle and elementary schools, as well as home-based services, working with children, school administrators, and families to achieve stability and success for her clients. Zelma has served in a leadership role often, and was the director of school-based teams with the Linkages to Learning program, supervising 7 school-based sites offering supervision to community school coordinators and family case managers. Zelma uses her skills as a supervisor offering supervision towards licensure for other therapists in training.

Curious and creative, Zelma is a natural problem solver and one eager to share her knowledge. Zelma has extensive training in the areas of trauma, integrative therapies, cultural diversity, family systems, and learning challenges faced by students that impact performance and behavior. At Sequence she offers in person and virtual child and adolescent therapy, using play and creative based techniques while working in close collaboration with families and schools to ensure every client she serves grows and develops to reach their most resilient, adjusted, and healthy selves. Zelma uses her knowledge as a certified trauma practitioner- clinical and Trauma-Focused CBT Therapist. Additionally she integrates different approaches such as mindfulness, dialectical behavior therapy, behavior modification, and solution-focused therapy to offer the best possible services.
