Traumatic experiences can leave you feeling stuck. Maybe you held it together for awhile your traumatic event, or perhaps you fell apart in the beginning but thought you’ve worked through it. Maybe your trauma isn’t related to a one-time event, but an ongoing stressor in your life that tore down your body’s ability to respond to stress. But somehow, here you still are.
When you’ve been through something traumatic, it’s overwhelming. It can be hard to know how to even choose healing, how to find a therapist that actually gets what your past did to you, and how to really know what’s a trauma response and what’s “normal.” The good news is that therapy works, and there are several evidence-based treatments that are proven to help reduce your systems, solidify your healing, and help you live a healthy, happy life.
For some, therapy can be a lifelong journey that is focused on healing from past wounds and traumatic experiences. For others, therapy can mean inviting me into your life for a critical period of time when you need to get back to yourself after a difficult transition. No matter what therapy looks like for you, I’m here to be your guide and listening ear, creating a safe space for you to share your innermost feelings and scariest thoughts. Our goal is always to get you back to being you, moving forward with wholeness and healing.
