I am an EMDRIA-Certified EMDR therapist, and clinical social worker supporting people to process through trauma and undesired behavior patterns, as they work toward the life they want for themselves. As someone’s therapist, I see the therapeutic relationship as a partnership that works best when both parties are engaged in the work. I practice consent-driven care and partner with those working to do the hard work, as we sort through things together. As a social worker, I recognize and acknowledge the politics and tensions that are often present in our lives both internally and externally.
I am supportive, engaging, and relational. I see my role as a partnership with the client, and am open and honest about the work required on the path to the life we want.
I’m a rescue dog mom, a 20+ year spoonie, overly caffeinated, part time professional napper who loves to travel, read, craft, karaoke, and bake things made of chocolate. I work with school-aged children, teens, and adults, and have a special focus on chronic illness, medical trauma, oppression related trauma, and interpersonal violence experiences.
