You never learned how to set healthy boundaries, which has led to people-pleasing behavior, low self-esteem and difficulty having your needs met in relationships. Maybe you’ve coped with painful feelings with food, drugs or bad relationships. You deserve to be valued for who you are and not what you do for others. The opportunity to show up in your life as your true self can feel both exciting and terrifying.

I specialize in helping women heal from domestic violence, eating disorders and trauma. I practice from a strengths-based approach and utilize a combination of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I offer a warm, safe environment to process painful feelings that may arise during this process. Together we can learn new ways to cope that will help you build a life that feels true to you. I have a Masters of Social Work degree and I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional I (CCTP-I). I have years of experience helping both teenagers and adults.

I am currently accepting new clients for virtual sessions. I’m licensed in both Maryland and Virginia.
