My interest in the impacts of stress, trauma & attachment began while working in outdoor leadership and guiding. I have a BA in Experiential Education from Prescott College and a MA in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University. I have experience in providing counselling services in addictions treatment, community mental health, employee assistance programs, and as a women’s trauma counsellor. I utilize Attachment Focussed EMDR and a strength based somatic – orientated approach to support the connection and integration of the impacts of stress, trauma and adversity. My practice is guided by the principles of providing counselling that honours dignity, security, choice, compassion and empowerment,
